Gitmo muslim detainees get special treatment during ramadan

Dates, nuts and honey are just a few of the "ramadan-specific" food items Gitmo terror suspects will received during the month long "holy" observance. Americas finest are working around the clock to provide the special meals that are doubled for their nighttime portions. In addition to providing medical monitoring to ensure detainees received adequate nutrients. Isn't that nice? Do you think our fighting men and women are allowed to have ham for Easter or champagne for New Years Eve celebrations while serving in Iraq or Afghanistan? I think not!

CAIR's daily "whine-o-gram" boasted of motions filed in federal court. CAIR's involvement is nothing more than a show of support and has no legal grounds. In the court challenge filed Friday, attorney Gaillard T. Hunt said muslim chaplains are needed help reduce suicide attempts among detainees. Since 2004 muslim chaplains have been banned following the arrest of former Army Capt. James Yee, the muslim chaplain accused of taking classified records. (Yee contends he was targeted because of his faith) Yee oversaw a staff of five chaplains, none of them muslim, a fact that sparked international criticism. A United Nations report earlier this year on conditions at the camp said the failure to provide muslim clergy for detainees violated minimum standards of treatment. The deference given to them under the guise of religion was unbelievable despite UN reports. Since the discredited "koran flushing" incident, guards were ordered to don medical gloves before touching a koran. Now, only civilian muslim interpreters are allowed to move and inspect the holy texts during cell searches. Military guards note that Korans have been used to pass messages and could hide weapons.

It's clear muslim prisoners in lockup often used religion as a wedge to get around the desires or authority of those above them and used religion to manipulate camp commanders. Due to their militant nature many procedures are stricter than those used by the federal Bureau of Prisons. These prisoners are not being held on traffic violations, they want to murder us. Let's stop treating them like normal criminals and handle them with the same regard the jihadist have for our military.

Holy month of terror

It's that time of year again, ramadan. At the first sighting of a full moon muslims worldwide begin the month long fast and us infidels will beef up security at airports and government buildings. Saturday marked the start of ramadan and true to fashion it was not without bloodshed. In the first reported attack of the holy month, at least 31 people were killed by a bomb in Iraq where calls for jihad echoed earlier threats of attacks in the Gulf and on Israel. A day of protests on the eve of ramadan saw no let-up in demands for the Pope to apologize for a quote intimating islam is violent, go figure. I could go and on pulling stories from across the globe where angry muslims celebrated their high holy day with death and violence. We have a long way to go and as the holiday wears on we'll hear more about maryrdom operations from the religion of peace. Legend has it, if you're a martyr (kill yourself) during ramadan, you'll receive an extra virgin or two.

All kidding aside, the terror alert level isn't elevated during Yom Kippur, Easter or Christmas. But don't make a point of bringing this up to the muslim community, they might get violent in an effort to dispel your comment. Happy ramadan!

Ahmadinejad defends suicide bombing

This statement should put to rest the any questions regarding their intentions if Iran is allowed to acquire nuclear weapons. The Iranian "nutter in chief" was asked by an NBC reporter how he would feel if his child became a suicide bomber. The "matter of fact" response is chilling. In classic Ahmadinejad fashion, the question was bounced back to the journalist,

"What would you like your son to do?" Ahmadinejad said. "Would you like him to defend America? I think you would like that. "t's the same with our people. If you don't have arms, what would you do? It's not a bad thing. The war was imposed on the Middle East, "Ahmadinejad said. Iran is sandwiched between Afghanistan and Iraq, where the United States has hundreds of thousands of troops. Hundreds of thousands of troops surround us under the pretext of democracy,"

We're waging war with a death cult civilization. Iran is hell bent on obtaining weapons of mass destruction. The clerics who speak though Ahmadinejad intend to usher in the mahdi (12th imam) and eliminate Israel. They've been telling us of their objectives for years, and this revelation by the "nutter in chief" supporting martyrdom endeavors must be taken seriously. Civilized nations need to collectively condemn their evil intentions and the west has a moral obligation to sustain military efforts in the middle east to crush this culture of death also know as islam!

Chavez calls President Bush the "Devil"

Once again the UN has proven their impotence. In a speech to the United Nations General Assembly, Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez called President Bush the devil. This "moral giant" also urged the member governments to fight U.S. domination. World leaders and diplomats applauded his remarks and often burst into laughter as the dictator suggested Americans read Noam Chomsky's "Hegemony or Survival: America's Quest for Global Dominance."

The united nations has become irrelevant. Their inability to enforce security resolutions aside, how do you allow one member nation to call for the elimination of another? Allowing Chavez to spew anti-American venom on U.S. soil just proves their insignificance. Turtle Bay has become a soap box for terrorists and dictators to legitimize conspiracy theories, lending moral equivalence to their evil deeds.

CAIR looks to muslim brotherhood & hamas as islamic leaders!

US Newswire is a "pay for play" media service. In other words, you pay them to submit your "news" item to various media outlets. There's no guarantee it'll get picked up. This service is utilized by CAIR when they issue "For Immediate Release" emails like the Pope denouncing "whine-o-gram" I received Friday.

I did some digging last night and read the entire CAIR release and compared the two. They are in fact identical. It was when I clicked to the Washington Post link, located on both the email and the US Newswire releases, that I realized CAIR tried to mislead me and the public. The prompt says: SEE: Muslim Leaders Blast Pope's Comments (Washington Post), now that would lead one to believe CAIR was among the muslim leaders mentioned and or quoted in the article. Right, well that's what I thought. I reread the WaPo news piece again and nowhere is CAIR or any American muslim quoted. The muslims "leaders" who did the blasting included members of the muslim brotherhood, a representative of hamas and the Iraqi radical "boy" cleric Moqtada al-Sadr. Are these muslim leaders directing CAIR? Does CAIR look to these terrorist for guidance? Is the claim made by Andrew Whitehead calling CAIR a terrorist front operation true? If they refer to these islamic terrorists as leaders then I think CAIR has some explaining to do!

When is islam going to live up to their "religion of peace" claim?

I fall asleep with the radio tuned to our local talk radio station, 1420 WHK. They feature 4 of SRN's best talk hosts all week and overnight replay The Savage Nation. Michael Savage is NOT one of my favorite hosts, he can be a little extreme and has a tendency to go over board.

After a day of talk hosts and Fox News airing the islamic backlash to comments made by the Pope, I posted some calming pictures of God's Promise, made reference to the all to common reaction by the "religion of peace" and went to bed. Enter the savage nation. Michael was commenting (ranting) on the "ummah" and what's become an all to common response to "insulting" islam. Time and again following Friday prayers, muslims take to the streets insisting islam is the religion of peace. All the while effigys burn and chants of "death to...." whomever offended the peaceful muslims.

I have to say, Michael was spot on with his commentary last night, reminding us what happens when you offend islam. Just ask Theo Van Gogh what happens when you offend islam.

As the day wore on, it seemed I was made to believe this was a justified reaction. Talking heads from Jessie Jackson to CAIR came out and defended the actions of these crazed death cult followers. Calling for dialog and a greater understanding of the muslim world. CAIR sent an immediate response to the comments made by the Pontiff, insisting islam is peaceful. The email was chock-full of examples from the koran. Verses condemning forced conversion and a few lines stating the "true" meaning of jihad. The examples were selected and intentional, one must read the entire verse to understand what the prophet really meant, the devil's in the details. More of the same dialog of the demented.

Fire bombing churches and embassies, death threats to cartoonist and torching a makeshift likeness of world leaders has become "accepted" behavior by angry muslims. When Rosie O'Donnell "offended" Christians we didn't see death threats tossed her way or burning effigys in St. Peters Square. It's not a matter of respect, it's about living in a civilized world. American's have the freedom to offend and to be offensive. We also understand our actions and offensive behavior carry consequences. Is the western world going to hold the muslim world to the same standard and demand the ummah move into the 21st century. The ummah must put an end to the victim mentality and hold clerics accountable for the actions of their flock. They can't be any more clear when the chants of death are directed toward the western infidels, when are civilized nations going to wake up. Do we need another 9/11, Madrid train and London tube bombing? Their intentions are clear, and they need to be killed before they murder us!

God's Promise

Just after a thunderstorm passed through NEO, I was able to snap some pictures of God's Promise. As muslims emerge from Friday "prayers", thousands go forward to affirm statements made by the Pontiff. His quoting of a 14th century Byzantine Christian Emperor, "Show me just what muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached," provoked the action angry muslims are famous for.....So instead of posting pictures of his burning effigy, I thought these rainbows make for a positive beginning into the weekend. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Christopher Lewis!

Happy 21st Birthday Christopher!21 years ago today, God blessed me with a beautiful, healthy 9 pound 2 ounce baby boy. My life was forever changed with this gift, this tiny life entrusted to me by our Lord. Today, when he wakes, I'll see a wonderful young man who loves everything Batman, James Bond, music, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and his 2005 Legend Lime Green Mustang (Christopher's LPN graduation gift). Needless to say, he makes me extremely proud. This afternoon, before he leaves for the hospital, his dad and I will sing Happy Birthday and the 3 of us will enjoy a piece "Joker" ice cream cake. For most folks, today is just another day, I however will give thanks for the gift I received 21 years ago.
Happy Birthday "Hoffie", I love you more than you'll ever know!

Post 9/11 muslim apology

I found this inspiring "nugget" printed in the NY Post. Here's the "apology" in full if you don't care to go to the Post.

September 12, 2006 — WELL, here it is, five years late, but here just the same: an apology from an Arab-American for 9/11. No, I didn’t help organize the killers or contribute in any way to their terrible cause. However, I was one of millions of Arab-Americans who did the unspeakable on 9/11: nothing.
The only time I raised my voice in protest against these men who killed thousands of innocents in the name of Allah was behind closed doors, among the safety of friends and family. I did at one point write a very vitriolic essay condemning their actions, but fear of becoming another Salman Rushdie kept me from ever trying to publish it.
Well, I’m sick of saying the truth only in private - that Arabs around the world, including Arab-Americans like myself, need to start holding our own culture accountable for the insane, violent actions that our extremists have perpetrated on the world at large.
Yes, our extremists and our culture.
Every single 9/11 hijacker was Arab and a Muslim. The apologists (including President Bush) tried to reassure us that 9/11 had nothing to do with Islam, but was a twisting of a great and noble religion. With all due respect, read the Koran, Mr. President. There’s enough there for someone of extreme tendencies to find their way to a global jihad.

CAIR counters al-qaida 9/11 video

My favorite terrorist front group, CAIR, issued a "Media Advisory" whine-o-gram yesterday. As most of us who watch these events, or watch them so you don't have to, can clearly read between the lines. A CAIR media advisory is a statement sent out to major news outlets (hoping it'll get air time somewhere) praising themselves for "speaking" out against something near and dear to the American public, playing exclusively to the left. As America mourned the murdering of nearly 3000 of our fellow countrymen, Hopper and the gang felt the need to "publicly" denounce al-qaidas number 2 man, Ayman al-Zawahri call to muslim arms against the infidels. Nice enough wouldn't you say? If a newsman received the media advisory with the following statement they'd consider airing it, time permitting.

"Al-Qaida does not speak for Islam or for the vast majority of Muslims worldwide who want to live in peace with their neighbors, practice their faith in freedom and raise their children in societies based on justice and mutual respect," said CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad, "For the last five years, Al-Qaida has offered nothing but a future filled with endless violence and division."

The above statement was the entire text issued by CAIR. (and I saved it, just in case I have to pull it out in court)

But, your faithful CAIR email member received, a mere 6 hours later, the "entire" text meant for "islamic" eyes only. It reads as follows;

"As we commemorate the 5th anniversary of the tragic 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization in the United States, would like to use this opportunity to challenge the rhetoric and the worldview of the recent videotape released by Al-Qaeda's second-in-command, Ayman Al-Zawahiri.

"To more than a billion Muslims worldwide, Islam is a religion that teaches tolerance, freedom and compassion. Those who understand Islam and know Muslims as friends and colleagues realize that Islam is one of the three Abrahamic faiths and that Muslims are contributing members of societies around the world."

Unfortunately, for many who know little of Islam or Muslims, Al-Qaeda has come to represent both.

"As American Muslims, this is simply unacceptable and we will not allow terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda to be the voice of Muslims or the representation of Islam to the rest of the world.

"In light of the 5th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we feel the need to once again condemn and repudiate Al-Qaeda and its myopic worldview.

"Notwithstanding the fact that there are legitimate political grievances in the Muslim world today, Islam has never, and will never, justify the killing of innocent civilians in order to achieve political or religious goals.

"Al-Qaeda's worldview is a complete distortion of Islam because Islamic teachings clearly state that the killing of one innocent life is the moral equivalent of the killing of all humanity.

"As Muslims, we will continue to condemn Al-Qaeda and ensure that the rest of the world learns the true message of Islam and its teachings of peace, justice and compassion for all.

"At today's news conference held to release this statement, Awad noted that American Muslim groups were the first to condemn the 9/11 attacks. He also listed several anti-terror initiatives by American Muslims, such as the "Not in the Name of Islam" online petition drive and last year's Islamic legal ruling (fatwa) by U.S. Muslim scholars against terrorism and religious extremism.

Now, if you're like your beloved anti-jihadi blogger here (cause I ain't got nothing better to do with my time), you would have picked up on the inclusion of islamic victim-hood. The "fatwa" issued by islamic groups in this country split hairs and consider ALL non-muslims infidels, we are NOT considered among the innocent victims murdered in this jihad. Western leaders have been invited to "submit" to the will of allah and accept islam. They're not joking folks! We've been given an opportunity to "revert", the next step will be the installation of dhimmi or "special" humiliating rights given to those non-muslims. If we reject dhimmitude, we'll meet the sword. Again we find CAIR condemning the tactics while validating the motives.

Have you forgotten?

I hear people sayin' we don't need this war. I say there's some things worth fightin' for. What about our freedom, and this piece of ground? We didn't get to keep 'em by backin' down.

They say we don't realize the mess we're gettin' in

Before you start your preachin' let me ask you this my friend

Have you forgotten?

Have you forgotten, how it felt that day?

To see your homeland under fire

And her people blown away, Have you forgotten, when those towers fell

We had neighbors still inside goin' through a livin' hell

And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout Bin Laden

Have you forgotten?

They took all the footage off my T.V.

Said it's too disturbing for you and me

It'll just breed anger that's what the experts say

If it was up to me I'd show it everyday

Some say this country's just out looking for a fight

After 9/11 man I'd have to say that's right

Have you forgotten all the people killed?

Some went down like hero's in that Pennsylvania field

Have you forgotten about our Pentagon?

All the loved ones that we lost and those left to carry on

Don't you tell me not to worry about bin Laden

Have you forgotten?

Have you forgotten how it felt that day?

To see your homeland under fire

And her people blown away

Have you forgotten when those towers fell?

We had neighbors still inside going thru a living hell

And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout bin Laden

Have you forgotten?

The comments I posted are actually lyrics to a song by Darryl Worley , written after that fateful day when this great nation would forever be changed. My 9/11 post was going to be a recounting of my morning, a look back at where I was and what I was doing. In retrospect, what I was doing didn't matter. But I think this post says it all.

May God continue to Bless this country and Let Us Never Forget!

CAIR takes a field trip to Quantico?

Prior to 9/11 a co-worker and friend of my husband was traveling to Quantico to see his son graduate from the FBI academy. The proud papa (A former FBI agent himself) asked Nick if our son would like a "real" t-shirt and hat from the academy in addition to literature on the "Citizens Academy". Needless to say our son was thrilled with the gifts and 10 years later still wears the hat and hole riddled shirt.

I was reminded of this when CAIRs daily whine-o-gram included an article boasting diversity training from hospitals to city recreation centers. (because muslims are special and need to be treated as such) I have no problem with a mosque or islamic center opening their doors to the public and "enlightening" those who wish to expand their knowledge of the "religion of peace". It's when DHS either invites or is pressured into divulging TSA procedures and practices including customs screening policies that are vital to our nations security. CAIR and other Chicago area muslims were treated to a VIP tour of U.S. Customs and Border Protection operations at O’Hare International Airport. As with any "field trip" I'm sure the attendees took notes, asked "important" questions and snapped photos. Everything a jihadi will need to slide through undetected.

Thanks to me and fellow taxpayers, a mosque will be built on the U.S. Marine base at Quantico. As expected, a CAIR representative attended the dedication ceremony for the first islamic prayer center on a U.S. Marine Corps base. Just a few miles away from our Pentagon, where one of four planes piloted by muslims, intended to destroy the heart of our military operations. The "prayer center" at Quantico will serve as a "meeting" area for the maybe 24 muslim marines. They're clearly in the minority, so I beg the question, where's the "Church at Quantico" or "Temple Quantico"? Don't get me wrong, I believe our military has enlisted many patriotic muslims. I do however have a problem with CAIR, the self proclaimed "American muslim mouth piece", demanding special rights, privileges and treatment of muslims, instead of insisting on inclusion and assimilation to the established American culture. CAIR isn't interested in protecting the rights of fellow muslims, their mission is to replace our Constitution with sharia law, forcing all non-muslims into dhimmitude.

CAIR responds to President Bush's speech

It didn't take long for CAIR to come out with their "whine-o-gram" claiming "today's address by President Bush on the status of America's war on terrorism "grants undeserved legitimacy to extremists." Oh really?

Well, I say it's about time this administration explained the ultimate goal and nature of the enemy. He spoke bluntly about the global threat facing the civilized world.

This speaking tour by islamic terrorist Mohammad Khatami, will greatly embolden the radicals and their front groups inside America and around the world. Up lifting this terrorist and allowing him to spew anti-American and anti-Semitic rhetoric within our borders is doing more to grant legitimacy to extremist. While our President warns fellow Americans, "We know what the terrorists intend to do because they've told us -- and we need to take their words seriously,"

Khatami acts as a cheerleader for the "blame America first" crowd saying, "As America claims to be fighting terrorism, it implements policies that cause the intensification of terrorism and institutionalized violence,". Isn't that wonderful, our government granted a visa to this terrorist? For 14 days he's free as a bird, flying around this great nation insulting Her at every turn while CAIR stands in the shadows, quietly applauding his venomous rhetoric.
